Dayak Onions, a native plant from Borneo, which I recently obtained through a seed plant exchange, have begun to bloom. I noticed the flower buds about a week ago, and the flowers started blooming three days ago. typically bloom in the evening, and by morning, only the buds remain, with no sign of the bloomed flowers on the ground or anywhere nearby. In the evening, the flowers bloom again, and this pattern has continued for three days. only plausible I can think of is that a single bud consists of cluster of buds.

Do you grow these onions to eat or for their flower? It is pretty BTW.
