Some of our roses are blooming. Here are three: Aloha Rose.jpg
This is Aloha, which is supposedly a climber. If so, she is a short one--only about 5' tall and she's been here for six years.

    Sophy's Rose.jpg
This is Sophy's Rose which we got last fall. I think she is going to be a favorite!
    Old Blush.jpg
And Old Blush, an antique rose that blooms her fool head off over a long stretch of time. Old Blush is rumored to be the first rose cutting planted in the New World.

WOW what a lovely threesome Jane. :smt026 I'll have to wait for ages before my roses start to flower. :( They've only just begun to put out new leaf buds. Now, if I need a rose fix, I'll simply refer to your post. :)

No roses here, just rain and it will snow tomorrow. I guess winter is still hanging in here. It will be the end of April or early May before any flowers will come along here. I do like yours and miss the ones we had in Texas. dooley

Right now I have over a foot of snow on the ground and more coming down so keep posting pictures of your beautiful roses.

Love roses and your "Old Rose" is phenomenal. Can't really grow roses where I'm at cause I essentially live in rain forest and roses fungus terribly unless you have the perfect hot spot for it.

Wow MG! A sight for sore eyes. I continue to be surprised by how early spring comes to Texas.
