Hi all, I had a great birthday. The whole family climbed Mt Wachusett with mini-spikes & hiking poles in the ice & then went to a light display at a botanical garden. Here are photos We then convened back home for Christmas dinner left-overs. Doctored up. We added shrimp & peas, etc to turn our risotto onto a paella of sorts. See the birthday candle? Well, we discovered to our very GREAT surprise that candles will melt a bit in a hot paella.
Wow, look at those great piccies ! Nothing like a bracing hike, illumination and finally a delicious - looking meal. What a day.
