After that first handful of strawbs a couple of days ago I was counting the days for a bit of decadence. Tonight there was enough to eat strawbs, short cake and whipped cream. I was rapt.

No you're just teasing us!! My strawberries have a way to go before I can pick and eat them. I must stop drooling over your photograph as my keyboard doesn't do well covered in human saliva!!

Glad you liked those, RONNIE--This is one of the lottie highpoints.

    Too right, 2OF--They are delicious.

Oops.......sorry OILEEN-- Does it help to tell you I eat this everuy night whilst watching Springwatch? Mwahahahahaha. Oh dear.

MART--Well, they were so delicious and looked soooo good, I just had to share. chortle. So many do not make it home.
I WILL be a bit envious when you show your peaches, that's fer shore.

EJ-- I take that as a compliment. hahaha. Well, your strawbs must be coming along by now. We eat some at the lottie, jam the rest except for a bit for brekkie and a decadent presentation which we consume while watching the Springwatch that we taped. We never get home in time to watch it live.

Oh NETTY--I wish that you could taste them. They are Dar Royale and Korona sorts.
