It is so nice today. It is sunny, warm and just beautiful. It has gotten a bit breezy but still nice. We were sitting in the back yard with Chance and we didn't want to go inside. So, I made sandwiches and fruit and we ate out. Of course, that is Chance's yard so she couldn't be left out. DR and I had leftover roast beef sandwiches with tomato and Chance had leftover pork chop with tomato. Hers was cut into bite size chunks. She shared DR's pear. She is sure she is people. If I had not found something for her she would have sat and stared at us the whole time we were eating. I did a lot of cleanup things today after I moved the hollyhocks. Now, I have to go to the post office and mail a birthday card to my granddaughter who will be 10 on Monday. She lives in California. Dooley

I'm still waiting for good enough weather to sit out in the garden for longer than the time it takes to swallow a cup of tea. It is getting warmer though so maybe it won't be long now!!! :D
Glad you DR and Chance had a nice lunch Dooley.

Oh, lunch outside sounds good. I like my roast beef sandwich with a bit of horseradish sauce....just in case you feel like sharing sometime :)

Of course you had to prepare a lunch for Chance too....they just do not have any concept of being dogs afterall.

Chance sounds like a real bossy boots ;) Next thing you know she'll be requesting caviar and that you and DR dress up in maid and butler outfits respectively waiting on her hand and foot! "Let them eat cake" :D

Yeah! She's spoiled. If we would give her a chair she would eat at the table. She hates it when the truck leaves the driveway. She has a doggy door into the laundry room. She waits patiently by the inside door until we let her in. She knows she isn't supposed to bark inside. DR tells her no bark and she has to go outside. So, she gives these wee little barks that I can hear and hopes he doesn't hear it. Since he doesn't hear well and not at all some days she gets away with that more often than not. I go and let her inside. We'd put another doggy door but we don't want her inside if we aren't home. She has a cushy bed in the laundry so she isn't ever left out in the elements if it is a bad day.
