We have too many veggies, so we give quite a bit away to folks and family as well as the Food Bank. Sometimes folks feel they have to do something back. On this small plate, you can see a sort of bread. That was made by a family in our apt. building. It is a courgette snd apricot bread bedecked with sesame seeds. This collection of guilty pleasures have been earned, of course. All the hard work, long hours… so now I shall indulge in a piece of calorie-free courgette cake, a couple of barely sweet choccies and a cuppa. welp, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Never ever heard of courgette and apricot bread. If my apricot tree ever has a mind to fruit, I may try that since it looks to be a very moist, almost cake-like bread. The chocolate I got !! I always have a big slab of Herseys' Special Dark in the cupboard.
Pac—Hereya go. Annie— that courgette bread is like carrot cake and banana bread…just with courgettes. My mum used to make them, so I’m a big fan.
