Need Moth Identification

    Snapped some photo's of this unusual looking moth on my deck. Looks like it has some wing damage. Can anyone ID it?

    Not a moth, but a Red Admiral Butterfly. And from my experience with them what I have read is true....once they find your garden they will hang around for several generations.
    The caterpillars feed on nettles and the butterfly loves Buddleja and overripe fruit.

    I guess that's why I couldn't find a photo of it in the moth database. LOL
