I agree with Droopy...those pointy, (oblanceolate or cuneate), shiney leaves sure look ´Laurel´ to me...as well as how and where the berries have formed.
It certainly looks like Laurel berries you have there Tina. I think it's probably Bay laurel, Laurus Nobilis.
