Anyone have experience with M&J Roofing? Their quote came in a bit lower than the others I got, just want to make sure I'm not making a big mistake by going with them. Work is comparable across all the quotes I got.
    Thanks!

Hire a Mexican firm. They work harder, are more thorough and are more honest and polite than any of the rest. They aren't looking to make a killing. They give a fair price.

I would get bids locally and talk to local people. I think it might be different in different areas.

My new roof is metal. It cost more but is less likely to catch the house on fire in this wildfire - risky area where I live.

It's also white. As soon as I had it installed, the house temp dropped noticeably. The house is a lot cooler in summer, using less energy, less dependent on the power grid, and the cooling cost is less.

White roofs are not trendy but I think it looks very nice. Trends come and go.
