During the summer, dr found some small Christmas houses at a yard sale. They have sat in our living room until yesterday. Now, although they are still in the living room they have found a place under the tree. They are all needlepoint, lots of work involved. Christmas tree with small houses! Wow,..great find,..and something i never came across before,..dr has a good eye,..i wonder who made them and the history of them,..someone put a lot of time and work making all those wee houses..
Philip, we don't know who made them. The yard sale appeared to be just a huge collection of all sorts of odd things likely gathered over the years. The little church is not one of the houses we got there but one we had for a number of years. It is quite old and made of cardboard. It just seemed to fit in.
Awww those are beautiful Dooley and just the right size for putting under your Christmas tree. I think DR was meant to find them and bring them home for you.
Beautiful little houses, and you've found the perfect place for them. I wonder how they were made? It must have taken ages to make just one.
I'm glad those little houses that someone took time and trouble to make found a new home with folks who appreciate them, and will treasure them.
