We had the most beautiful day on Sunday, with temps in the mid-teens (degrees C) and wall to wall sunshine.

I saw more butterflies on the one day than the whole of last year.

This Peacock was on an aubretia at a garden centre.

and this tortoiseshell on the viburnum right outside our front door!

A few trees have blossom although in the minority at the moment. This on also at the garden centre.

But my garden is also putting on a show in the sunshine.

If anyone can positively ID this one I'd be grateful-the label is long-gone,,,it's about 6 inches tall.

    .......it leaves me breathless, Karin.
It is grey and foggy here today, so your presentation of lovlies are really good to see.

That narcissus 'Tête à tête' is a little jewell, isn't it.

It is wonderful that you are seeing flutterbye's there. Not so many here, so what a joy it was to see yours--all in the sunshine and everything.

    Smashing posting, meid!

Your unidentified flower looks just like my Tulipa Biflora. Mine has a fragrance - does yours?

Funny how us, still in Winter like conditions, cling to you all that are having Spring time. I have to tell you that I have Googled Spring flowers and gardens since beginning of January.

It allows is to daydream about our future. It's a good thing.
