    He's been in the front garden for many years, but the other day I noticed how old and tired he's looking now :(

    He hasn't always looked like this, time and the weather have taken their toll.

    Yep, something knocked his head off so I made him a new one out of the plasticine that Tetters bought me for my birthday :)

    On the down to the up side… I did have a few garden ornaments that seemed to have had better days. Most of them looked great 30 years ago. I put them out of their misery and delivered them to a recycle dump yard.

    I added garden solar lights around the garden - updated versions of the old worn out type. They light up the garden at night like clock work in several places .

    The pond is next to the dinrm window we pass several times at night. The small pond solar light up with butterflies, hummers, damselflies . Makes the garden come alive at night instead of a huge black void when looking out the windows. It’s pitch black at night … just the stars and the moon if the sky is clear - no street lights out here.
