Red in the morning sailors take warning.....

These are all the same sunrise just different settings on the camera. I couldn't hardly believe the color this morning as the sun began to rise. it was absolutely spectacular! 100_1865.JPG 100_1868.JPG

Beautiful! The sky was incredibly red here this morning as well. I tried to snap a few photos while on my dog walk with my cell phone, but the color was no where close to reality. It was much, MUCH more red. IMG_0963.JPG

I believe you Netty, that was why I tried the pictures with different settings.... just to show the difference between the exposure. I wish I knew more about my camera and how to take really good pictures, but I get so confused with all the details.... I just don't do well with reading and memorizing. I just need to see it and practice, I just don't take/make the time, I guess.

Both of you have taken incredible pictures! Our sunrise was befogged--we couldn't even see the pond from the house. But, I got to see two magnificent sunrises!

Fantastic photographs. There's just nothing to beat Mother Nature is there? Your photographs certainly show her in all her glory. Thanks for letting us share them with you.

    Gorgeous Carolyn.
It is a pretty sunrise any exposure you use, isn't it.

    Thanks.

Netty, I believe you... I saw ours. The black background with the red streak was the closest in color. by the time I snapped the pics and uploaded them it was completely gone and light out. I will say I had a horrible head ache all day and even still today... Must have been the weather change... changing still. This coming week will be the coldest so far this season.

Beautiful pics. I can frequently see similar sunrises from out of my bedroom window! I keep meaning to get my good camera set up with the appropriate lens and such so that I can capture some of the breathtaking imagery. But have I? Nooooooo....<sigh>

So meanwhile, I'll just enjoy your pictures. ;)
