    The early bulbs are done now but the next flowers are starting.

    2OF---Those are stunning pics of some striking flowers. REALLY lovely. I found that peachy-salmon coloured iris particularly gorgeous. You are no doubt quite pleased with this result. Chapeau.

    I like the softer colors of iris though I do have a 2 tone purple one that I didn't take a photo of. The peachy-salmon one is called Beverly Sills. I especially like it because it doesn't multiple as rapidly as some so I can plant it in a smaller area than some of the others.

    Philip, the solid blue Iris is Iris Pallida 'Variegata' and you can see the green and yellow striped leaves in the photo. It is my favorite Iris.

    This Iris will take light shade. It gets morning sun in my yard but is planted under a tree so it is in bright shade from noon on with no direct sunlight.
