For the first time since the end of March we had rain today. It dripped a bit here and there and sprinkled some but around seven the clouds opened up and it poured rain for about 20 or 30 minutes. Then, the sun came out and made a nice sunset. According to the super, professional rain guage we had .58 inches. Rain is in the forecast for the next three days. dooley
Congrats on the rain, wish we had some. My rain gauge has been dry since April 8 and I am not holding out much hope for it to be dampened by any of the slight chances of rain coming around this week. There is a crack in my front yard that's about 5 inches deep so far.
Yesterday the weather here in Scotland threw everything it could at us. We had drizzle, rain, sleet, hail, snow, high winds and even 9would you believe it) some sunshine!! I'm glad you got some rain Dooley but I could do with some of your sun.

Ok, we must be careful of what we ask...The rain that I spoke about came down with a vengence and pummelled my poor little pepper plants. They're standing today at the moment but more rain is expected this afternoon (60%). I think i will find a box and cover them :-D
