I have good news !! When the sun came out everything perked bavk up !! All that got a lot of damage were my bok choy and broccoli leaves. Other than that, things look ok..

Good job we don't mind...or should I say... have accepted the fact that we now must put up with getting soaking wet/ blown to bits in order to carry on with getting out and about!!!! Once again we've been out everyday this week, but today hubs has a medical app. to attend this entails an initial walk of 1:5 miles to get on the first bus then a short walk for the 2nd one. It goes without saying that we'll get to enjoy a lovely meal in town .....as our reward! Just hope we don't make puddles in the restaurant!!!!

Still pouring down and we are wet through....but now snuggled down in a restuarant and about to tuck into a Smoked Mackeral lunch.
32°f high 64. We have those really high Alto cumulus clouds blanketing the upper atmosphere but they are not heavily shading the garden. I left everything uncovered and all was fine. It didn't stay below freezing.
It was still raining as we walked back home but has now finally stopped....we were very,very wet. However I consider ourselves very lucky after checking out the forecast where my hubs comes from.....how my sister- in- law and the rest of our family cope is beyond me...feel likes at -16C
The rain has finally cleared and it looks like we can enjoy a relatively mild night across the country. Enjoy while we can as apparently temps are expected to take a dive again.
