57°f high 74. Drizzle since last night some time. It was very foggy last night starting around 9 pm. Supposed to drizzle off and on today.

I'm happy about this because I just planted my carrots, lettuce and pea seeds monday. I won't have to water today.

Just arrived back home...in pouring rain. This morning was quite nice at times with fleeting glimpses of blue skies and even...:setc_040: the sun!!:setc_083:
But this afternoon has been a mixture of showers, breeze and heavy downpours.

    You shouldn't have a frost if the low was 38? @Pacnorwest ??

That is a good question. Curious minds want to know… I asked Suri….
Frost is not just ambient air temperature below freezing. Frost occurs when the air temperature close to the ground cools below freezing AND below the dew point so that moisture in the air either condenses and then freezes, or freezes directly out of the air.

Most of the front pastures & several sections of the garden and lawn areas are constantly in the shade this time of year due to the sun that is so much lower in the horizon in the PNW . The ground area really never warms up enough to prevent … as I said above … ‘A Light Frost.’ Hope this helps answer your question.
