Well it hasn't rained or sleet so far. With a moderate breeze from the south south east temp 4c feels like -1c
There's still some dodgy paths at the moment, just hope that it will melt.

The pleasant, warm spell is over. It's 40 for the low but it has a feels like temp of 55 !!. High 66 but, there is now a cold wind from the north. It must've rained last night since the car is more than wet from dew. That polar vortex has allowed a lot of polar air to sink alllll the way down to the deep South.

Low tonight is 32°f and windy. Low. 31 the next day. So, two days of protecting my crops then it should be back up to above freezing for a while.

Thank you Oreti, We both got a pair of snow boots that work well with icy snow but still have to be careful. It's more easier with the 2 older boys they don't go so fast, the younger one wants to explore but he has to listen to commands. It's starting to melt now so hopefully it will be gone today.

@Logan and the rest of you who have icy weather conditions. Get ya some of these, Ice cleats that you just stretch over the sole of your boots. I have these and they work !! No slipping, no sliding.

Our Walmart has them for $17.95. Amazon has them too
