Tonight I may well harvest baby Bok choy and sautée them with some garlic and ginger with soya sauce. Maybe an asparagus soup and definitely a salad. My 16 year old daughter demands salad every day for dinner. There is also last night’s lasagne. And Ice Cream for dessert. Ice cream is vanilla with sliced bananas and hot chocolate sauce. Luckily I have loads of ruccola.

I am always philosophical until mid May.

@mart rocket or arugula is ruccola. A tasty leafy salad green that grows like a weed in my garden now and survived in winter, so always have to eat the whole year through. My daughter loves it and will scoff a plateful every day.

Baby bok choy, steamed with a garlic and ginger sauce. This is the first time harvest. We will cook it now.

Pizza :D But then I got the urge to make something sweet, so I made toffee cookies. My bf and roommate agreed they should be illegal (they were that good) :D

Bok choy with prawns for lunch and minced meat with mashed potatoes. Hachis Parmentier in local parlance for dinner.

I blend rosemary and salt and rub the outside after a rub of Olive oil ! Other than that ,,nothing ! I just roast it with a few bits of rosemary left from the rub !

    That sounds so good.
If you had a restaurant, I’ll bet you would never have a free moment again. Ha ha

Yesterday was the first Easter day here and we took full advantage: we got up late, we had a warm brunch,

Scrambled eggs, bacon and fried tattys. Normally here, the breakfasts are cold— bread, cheese, slices of meat and something sweet ...so warm was a real treat.

Then for the Easter evening meal it was tuna steaks, potato’s gratin and cheesy cauliflower with our own applesauce.

It was really tasty— an oval plate meal.
