I recently sprained my ankle, so my dear husband took over the coop tending for a few days. The ladies love him! He even made a video of our 16 Black Australorp hens. They like being movie stars! If you want to hear a grown man cooing to hens, and the hens responding, here is the video:
Your husband is a real ladies man isn't he? Tell me though does he talk to you like that too or does he reserve the sweet talk for the hens?
Eileen, he occasionally sweet talks me, but cooing to the ladies is a daily occurrence. I pointed out that he doesn't have to clean up after me, but it made no difference .
