    while I am not really fond of deer and many other foragers in my garden i must say that is the furriest fawn I have ever seen.

    Great picture, Kildale! Carolyn, I have 'heard' that the heavier coats mean a bad winter but it does seem kind of early for cold weather to arrive.

    It is a pretty fawn but if it was in MY garden I doubt I'd have that opinion. Deer here are a terrible nuisance and can totally destroy a garden overnight.

    We can keep the deer out of the back garden but we let them roam the front, they were here before us.
