I love the fresh smell the clothes have when you hang them out. Saves on electric and no need for fragrance additives !!

Our forecast rain that is suppose to be happening now.......well ...isn't. Always hang laundry out ,even during the Winter months we always find days...or half days good for allowing the laundry a good blow through. Nothing beats line dried ,especially bedding imo. We do have a tumble dryer but it's years since it was used. It's down in the garage anyway so not exactly convenient to use on wet days. The washing may get dry but I would get soaked going back and forth attending to it.!!
Fog this morning and lots of damp. It rained heavily for some time, after dark, yesterday but we got only 3/4" the whole day. 72°f - 88. Thunderstotms expected off and on all day. No laundry getting done today !!
Here at home it's remained dry and fairly sunny. However in Southampton there has been some pretty heavy short , sharp showers today. Looking out of the window during our meal we could see black clouds approaching and raindrops beginning to hit the window. At the very same time I checked out our cameras at home, just 5 miles away, to see the garden basking in sunshine ,apart from the Kitchen patio that at this time of year is still in shade at around midday. Still dry now at almost 7pm. 15C.

Raining here also !! We are getting the blowback from all the storms coming up from the Gulf into the mid west. It is supposed to rain off and on for the next 7 days !! Thank goodness I won't need to water !!
