Needless to say we didn't get a single drop of the predicted rain this morning. Our kitchen patio thermometer is reading 30C now ( obviously in the shade). Cloudless blue skies, if it wasn't for the fact that I really want to be getting on with gardening tasks then I would be enjoying this gorgeous weather.
Seemingly the screen in the pic could be between The Sun and The Plants but these gardening questions can be very complex and often confuse me

Another sleepless night spend downstairs reading my current library book and knitting some more charity hats!. Way too warm here for sleep again. Feel like a bit of a zombie now. Looking forward to a much more tolerable temperature out in the garden today.
Cooler today with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 20c feels like 23c It still feels hot inside the house.
It rained during the night, but it's dry now, temp 17c The forecast say it will get warmer on Friday.
Cloudy and quite breezy but it feels great !! Been out in the garden since just before 9am and with all the doors and windows open the house is getting a good airing. Currently 22C ( feels like 25C). Apologies for the darkness in the photo ,we're on the lower patio and it's still holding on to a bit of shade.
Yes, it is more of a wine ambiance... but make mine a cheap Rose with ice. Sorry, thats about as "refined" as I can get.
