Nice day ,not that I've seen much of it. Went to the cinema this morning then on returning home at 2:30 I discovered that I had lost my mobile. After phoning around some shops and the cafe we went to after seeing the film to no avail I suddenly remembered, on nearly closing time ,one other shop that I nipped into very quickly and...........they have it!!! I will now sleep well. So haven't had much dealings with today's weather.

Cloudy but they are small, very high clouds with gaps between like they were crocheted together. There's the possibility of a tropical storm forming from one small storm in the Gulf (of Mexico !! ) joining up with a trough along the coast of the Atlantic and bringing some heavy rain here. It's cool and fresh outside this morning. 73° - 91 and thunderstorms around 3pm.
Nice day but tiring , been out since 9:30 and just got home.Called in to also visit my brother. The heat ,although reduced , is still taking it out of him. Greatly looking forward to our promise of rain tomorrow....will it or won't it show up.
@Oreti I have seen the heat wave on the news in your area, plz be careful to stay hydrated and don’t over do out in the garden. I also appreciate the amazing time that you spend with your brother. It’s not easy for you and this is a great way to spend time together.
Thank you @Pacnorwest . Fortunately the temps have dipped now but are due to pick up again later next week, although not as high as we've recently had. Just hoping for some rain...even a drop or two tomorrow. Then I'm certain the garden will perk up a bit, even though it does get some watering from time to time a good dollop of rainfall works it's magical spell over everything. We watched a bit of Wimbledon with my brother this afternoon, he just likes the back and forth movement of the ball. Nevertheless it was an event shared with him and is now another treasured memory safety stowed away to keep for ever.
@Oreti Sending the rain fairy your way. So true rain does have a magical way to give gardens a nice soaking . we will be in the 90F soon .. at least the weather guessers are predicting that for rest of this week .
Had to Google to covert to Celsius Yes that is warm....we were in that temps range last week. Found it hard to function, I think as I age my heat tolerance has shrunk.....probably just as I have too!! Keep safe.x
All day it's been sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the west south west temp 19c feels like 20c Supposed to have a bit of rain tomorrow but i bet we won't.
