Phew just got back home.....it was a warm walk there and back from my sister's house.

 

74°f - they said 91 but it's 93°f on my thermometer. Just miserable muggy heat.

 

Still too warm for sleeping, probably stay up and doze on the train, unfortunately it's only a journey of just over an hour.......times like this I wish our brood lived in Scotland, now that would be a lovely long snooze!!

 

We got rain.!!
It started around 6:30 pm. I had no faith in it doing much besides rumbling and darkening the skies but it came down pretty good and rained off and on until dark. I'm hoping the rain gauge will contain an inch when I check in the morning.

We all need to be thankful that we are not having weather like they're having in China. Floods all over the South and now heat so bad that the pavement is reading 77°C . The soles of people's shoes are melting on the pavement and sticking to it !!
