Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 10°C and cloudy. It sure is cool!
Finally got our pool up and running and so it's typical that the hot weather disappear!
Off to work, with extra layers on and wool socks.
Have a great day all :)

Oh, happy Thursday--I picked a goodly bunch of cherry tomatoes this morning! This is the first time we have Black Cherry tomatoes, and they are delicious. I must admit I tried two or three on the way back to the house. It's going to be hot and muggy today, so I'll make a big batch of pasta salad for friends to have for a cool supper, and we'll have some, too.
Netty, wool socks on June 6? OMG!!!

Morning all....Good does not get put back at the beginning of that phrase until the temperature starts out at 40 in the morning. Right now it's 93 but feels like 100+
I watered somethings out back, fed the birds and squirrels out front and that is all I will be going outside on a regular basis for until H*** freezes over.

Good Friday morning all and TGIF! Currently 13°C and clear.
What a week! The good thing about a busy week is that it passes quickly, and the weekend can begin.
Lots to do today ... watering is a must as there is not a drop of rain predicted until the 20th of June, and even then the chances are slim.
Grass to cut after work, and hopefully some garden time.
Have a great day all :)

It's cloudy here with a chance of rain. Haven't seen any rain yet but it is in the 70's and humid so maybe some will come tonight. I'm making chicken noodle soup for supper so I'd better go work on it. The chicken was cooked in the slow cooker so all I have to do is the noodles. I already deboned the chicken. dooley

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 12°C and clear. The dog had me up in the middle of the night with diarrhea UGH I don't know who fed him something that didn't agree with him, but he seems ok this morning but I sure feel tired! Heading out to vacuum the pool and water my planters, then back in to do some housework hopefully!
Have a great day all :)

Aah, Saturday--the day I try to catch up on all that I've not done all week! After watering the tomatoes and peppers, I cleaned onions and brought them into the pantry. My, the kitchen has an aroma!
This afternoon is dedicated to baking French bread. Tomorrow is dedicated to eating it!
Netty, I'm so glad you pup is feeling better. Try to find out what upset his stomach and warn the family to not give that to him again.

Morning all. Jane, I have been growing the black cherry toms for a few years....I am the only one in the family who eats tomatoes so they are ALL MINE..I usually walk around the garden eating them so not very many make it inside the house. Mine are not doing well this year, I think having an unusually hot April and May caused them much grief.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 14°C and clear with a nice breeze.
I had a lovely day out in the gardens yesterday. I finally got to all the small ones that were overgrown, except for one which I will do today. Got the back flower beds watered and I was weeding and deadheading until almost dark. Then I cut my finger with my pruners and decided it was time to go inside! One small garden to weed today and I have a few perennials to plant and the veggies to water. No rain in our long range forecast until June 20th.
Have a great day all :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently 13°C and clear.
My alarm went off at 4am and all I could think was NOOOOO! I don't feel like I'm well rested and the weekend needs to be a day longer!
Off to work, where I hope to spend the morning finally getting the veggie garden planted, and a whole lot of watering done.
Have a great day all :)

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 12°C and clear. I see a pattern forming this week already ... was woken by the alarm and don't fell rested at all.
Today is going to be a dragging hoses kind of day, but I see that we are in for some torrential rain tomorrow. I may hold off where I can. Rain water is always the best!
Have a great day all :)

I was in Connecticut for a long weekend of zydeco dancing and the weather was perfect. Back here, it continued to rain every day. In fact, my flight was delayed because of thunderstorms in Baltimore.... so interesting that the weather patterns differ so much.... Anyway, I have SIX half days more until school ends and I'm off for the summer and can finish my gardens. Everything is growing like wild, including the weeds!

Zydeco, Connecticut? Wow, how those Cajuns do get around. That is about the happiest music ever--you can't help but smile hearing it.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 15°C and overcast. We have some rain in the forecast today, and I sure hope that it happens!
Another busy day ahead, just throw in some shopping and a clients garden to do today as well.
I sure have been sleeping well at night!
Have a great day all :)

Morning all. Really getting tired of temps between 95 and 100 but we will maybe have a cool down next Monday when the temp could be around 87 instead.
So I have been doing some ancestor searching (looks like I found Robert the Bruce in my line) but I still have not found my grandmother.
Also knitting on scarves for Knit Your Bit....WWII museum in Louisiana receives them and passes them along to veterans who need them. I made a simple one in Army green and now am working on one in dark blue and white in the Missing Man formation pattern. Next will be a standard Red, White and Blue. I hope to have 10 to send off by the end of summer.
