    Hi all,

Someone here recommended a photo compressing App to reduce photos so that they can be posted on the Stew. It worked very well for me but recently I had to wipe my phone& restart it due to "problems".

I've forgotten the name of this app. Lil Photo? There's one called Lit Photo. Is that it?

    Thanks.

As you know, there are many apps that specialize in photo editing. But is very important to know what exactly you need. What I’m trying to say is that the photo editing service is something very wide and you should be more specific about your requirements. If you’re an amateur I suggest you to download snapseed and to get some presets that they have in there. I’m pretty much sure that that should be enough for you for the very beginning. The good part is that this app is available for both, android and iOS.

Thank you for sharing this. I work for an agency that takes photos and I constantly have to work with photos. Often people ask to make them a collage of several photos, and therefore I am looking for the most convenient way how to increase photo resolution for fast work. I had to work with LitPhoto, but in fact it is far from the most convenient application of all that I have tried. When you work not on a smartphone but on a computer, the efficiency is much higher. There were times when having only my smartphone, I had to make collages. It was quite good considering the compressed scope of work.

I ordered a picture on canvas to hang on the wall. I think it's a significant decorative element. Photographs remind us of pleasant events from life. It was important to me that the quality of the canvas was at a high level. I chose the photo with my husband and children. Last summer we were in the mountains and had a photoshoot there. So the picture will remind us of the beautiful time we spent together. We decided to print the photo on acrylic glass to be more vivid and high quality. I believe that in such cases, you should only turn to professionals.

I don't remember the application's name with which the photographer compressed my photos. But I remember he said that This application would help compress your images very quickly and efficiently. You can also select multiple images and compress them at once. This is very convenient if you need to send a series of pictures. Plus, you have the opportunity to share the result directly from the application itself without additional loading of images into third-party programs. In general, I have never compressed photos because our wedding photographer always does everything independently.

Photoshop is awesome to use for a batch process of making web images, you can customize the size and quality of the photos. I dont use my phone for anything but taking the pictures.

Hey there! I know this post is old, but in case anyone else is looking for a good photo compressing app, I recommend checking out Squoosh. It's free and works well for reducing photo sizes without sacrificing quality. Also, have any of you heard of Smart Engines? They offer an automatic and eco-friendly document scanning and OCR service that might be worth checking out. You can find more info on their website: https://smartengines.com/. Hope this helps. Let's bring this thread back to life, guys.
