A few years ago a local wildflower center had a sale:) who can resist a flower sale…..False dragonheads!!
I think the pot had 3…..nice start…. After planting them a few years later I had 6 That's nice….The following year 6 had become 12, still nice but perhaps they were partying too much over the winter? This year I have 24….in twice the area, oops! It must be the rabbit poo!!
They now think the adjacent lawn is theirs and are planning a large expansion I said to them “can’t we go back to addition?” One of them said. “Can you say 48?” I said “Can you say shovel?
    Their silence said it all.

Next years group will determine if the shovel is needed.

There was a film a few years ago, There be Dragons, about the Spanish civil war. Are you staging a remake, Jerry?
    Your dragons are lovely!

Three years ago a friend gave me a bag containing about 6 plants, the next year there were several hundred of them so I started pulling some of them up. Last year I regretted doing that cause none came up. This year they are back and have moved themselves to places I never thought of putting them.
She called them Obedient Plants.....that only happened when we had a very heavy rain storm that first year that bent them over and being the obedient plant they were they stayed laying down on the ground and never stood tall again. This year they are tall, blooming and staying, they are growing and blooming in spots where I never thought of putting a plant but they look so pretty.....next year may be a whole 'nuther story.
