What a lovely shower of colour you have in the garden at the moment. Man, I had to polish off my eyeballs and look at them a couple more times.
You have done a beautiful job of choosing and arranging the placement of the plants!!! I especially love the next to last grouping.....Good Work!!!
No, unfortunately. That's the little pocket handkerchief sized front garden. Where I sit when I'm on the computer (like now) faces out the back, to the backyard and small vegetable plot and fruit trees that are planted out there.
Very colorful Ronnie,..well cared for and all healthy looking,..though something is nibbling at the leaves on the first picture of the roses,..good selection of blooms well done
Phillip I have no clue what is getting to those leaves. I've looked and looked at all different times of the day.....I've even gone out there with a flashlight late at night to see what I could see. Nuthin'. It doesn't seem to affected the rose bush any. It's verdant and putting out flowers like crazy, and has at least doubled in size from last season. Just wish the leaves wouldn't keep getting holey
Ronnie,..hard to spot what is doing the damage,..i went through this myself with a rose bush,..it eventually got worse and nearly all the leaves were eaten and the rose bush is still recovering,..after 18 months,..it was Carolyn who put me right with the culprit,..a Cutter Bee,..not saying that's your culprit,..could one of many like an Ant but its a clean cut,..it won't bother the blooms for now but in time it will feel free to come back to eat time after time for tasty morsels,..1 Table Spoon of Liquid Soap in a Pint of water and spray,..at least this is something you will have in the house,..worth a try over a period of a few days,..not sunny days.
Slugs/snail. Flea Beetle, Cattapillers. My Dahlias look like those leaves last night so I put pellets down. If its not raining tonight I will spray Pravado...killer spray......... K
