Description: This is a Question Mark (Polygonia interrogationis) in summer dress. The hind wings are darker in summer, lighter in winter. She is feeding on rue, but likes most of our flowers. This is one of the most approachable butterflies we have--very intent on flowers and doesn't mind the proximity of humans.
