We got to the beach house Saturday & saw these critters:

Driving through Mobile, Alabama, we saw the USS Alabama

My youngest brother caught a crab

And from the balcony of the beach house, we watched this shark, which scared all the people out of the water!

I loved the pictures of the shark WT!! The water must be really clear to get photographs like that. :-D I used to love going rock pool dipping with my kids and finding crabs, shrimps and sea urchins - ahhhh the memories. The cardinal looks good against the green of the leaves - such handsome birds.

I gather you've arrived safely then. :D Love the cardinal and crab. Sharks is something we're not used to, so I'd probably get out of the water very fast too.

Great pics! I used to live on the Alabama shore line. Gulf Shores. I sure do remember going crabbing, just stand at the shore line with a hand net and we would get a dozen or more. Huge ones too! I've toured the USS Alabama, to me it was boring my kids loved it. Jelly fish season and shark season,,,sigh,, i remember those too! the waters look like your in the Florida section. I used to love to go to Navarre beach because the water was just so crystal clear. I know you will have a great time, and don't get so sunburned,,lol. Wear a hat!

Enjoy your time at the beach. Here in NC we're used to seeing shark in the water, but that's a big baby.

Understandably, we are not used to swimming with sharks in West Texas. I think the last sea that was here dried up eons ago.

Careful of that shark, too many attacks lately. Love the pictures, I am looking forward to seeing more.
