Though I didn't take picts of my babies when they were a seedling, they have become beautiful plants. And though fall is now here these picts were taken about a month ago. These are my impatients that I grew from seed.

I really enjoy gardening. I love watching a small seed grow into a beautiful flower or even a small vegie seed grow into something you can eat right out of your own garden-how cool is that. Gardening is very good therapy.

You know Petunia...it's that process that has taken hold of all os gardners. The rest is just a bonus. You have captured with a few words the essence of gardening, I think.
Those are delightful flowers to look at.
    Well done! :sete_005:

Those are beautiful. Impatients? I have only seen the small mounded plants with the flat blooms around here. Yours are much more interesting and a whole lot prettier.

It is amazing how much life can come from just a tiny seed.
For years I had only added new plants to the garden by buying them at a garden center, this last spring was my first adventure into starting seeds. Now I have a good sized collection of seeds for next years planting, some I bought at end of season sales and many I collected from my own plants.

Gee those are just so lovely Petunia. It really gives you a great feeling when your seeds burst into such beutiful flowers doesn't it? That's what I like most about gardening - watching everything grow and being able to say 'I did that'. :-D

Those are beautiful. I've never seen tall impatiens before. Mine are short and squatty. Yours are fancier than mine ;)

They are the prettiest impatients, I love the colors. You should be patting yourself on the back. They look so healthy and happy. Congrats!

Those impatiens also go by the names of balsam, busy lizzies, and ladies slippers. I love yours they are very pretty, mine usually reseed, but I had just a few this year.

They are really beautiful Petunia. There is nothing more satisfying than growing something from seed and watching them grow into a beautiful plant. I get far more pleasure out of collecting my own seeds and seeing what varieties of colour I get, especially french marigolds. I get so many different varieties courtesy of the bees I think :-D Thanks for sharing these lovely images.

Great job, Petunia. I hope I have as good results from my seed as you have with yours.

Pretty flowers...being a gardner myself, I do agree it relaxes me. My husband even says I have a smile on my face when I am on the lawn tractor mowing the grass. I love to mow the grass and just be outside in nice weather. ..
