Living room colors: How to match brown with something else?

    How about a shade of teal. It's not really aqua. I think for a living room aqua would be too pale. It would be pretty for a bedroom!

    You can incorporate your favorite color through your accessories since neutral color is safe to go almost to any other colors. ;)

    Colors for Living Room

    One of the easiest ways to assist you with room colors is to find an inspiration piece and pull the colors from that piece. For example, an art piece or sample fabric. It is hard to just come up with color without seeing what you are going to do down the road.
    When assisting my customers, I always have a plan then find the paint color that completes the picture. This way is easier for a novice to begin then to choose paint then try and match with accessories, flooring, etc. You already have the beginning with the brown sofa. Find inspiration by doing the research through internet shopping or stores in your area. Have the whole plan ready in your mind before you begin. Good luck!
