    Has anyone tried these: 'http://www.topless-sandal.com/'

Wasn't what you thought, huh?? :-D

I hate shoes :sete_026: and these sound like a reasonable alternative. I've ordered a pair and will let everyone know how they work, should be here in a few days. :sete_072:

They look interesting. Only concern I would have is, if they stick to your feet, I'm wondering if they stick to everything else too. I'm always cleaning sand, rocks & dirt out of my regular sandals, the thought of those things sticking to the sandals doesn't sound so appealing.

You'll have to tell us all about them once you've tried them out Orchid Lady. I walk around in bare feet most of the time so if they're any good I might be tempted to order some too. :-D

I promise to keep everyone posted. I wondered the same thing, Pianolady. I'm always getting goatheads stuck in my feet at the ranch and boy to they hurt. Am also concerned about sand & other stickies and how you clean that stuff off. And, what happens when I get my feet wet when I water my plants - my intent is to wear them in the garden and washing the car (along with everywhere else) but if they come off when they get wet they won't do me much good - I never know when my feet are going to get soaked.

Either way, hopefully they'll be in by Monday and we can test them. If I don't like them, I'll send them back - no harm done.

They stay on with a sticky stuff that is on the "shoe". Its really simple, you just put your clean foot on them and go. Wore them all day yesterday and LOVED them. Wore them out to the barn last night and got stickers on them so they don't well in sand (we have a lot of goatheads at the barn and its really sandy) but loved wearing them in the yard, garden, and in the city (wore them to WalMart, grocery store, etc). Wonderful! Ran out of time yesterday but promise to post pics later today.

No, unfortunately the sticky is water activated and they slid right off. Had to wait for them to dry before they would stick again. Hair dryer worked well but inconvenient when I was in the garden. They're not the PERFECT shoe, but they come really really close and my feet didn't get beat up (my feet are a mess from going barefoot, a real turnoff even to me - this is my way of working on the situation). Very very comfortable.

I would have to have another pair of shoes to take to work as if they got wet I would be barefoot until they were dry,I would love a pair anyway.
