It is in southwest Florida and in my fathers backyard. He keeps getting very bad skin irritation from it and even when the wind blows and it still gets him if he not directly in front of it. IDK what the problem is.. When I was posting the question all the pics kept coming black so I lightened the one on here now. I cant lighten it any more.

I agree - Virginia Creeper. Interestingly, yesterday I was chatting with a neighbor and she said that she gets a terrible rash from Virginia Creeper. Said she can't even go near it. I suppose some folks have an allergic reaction to it.
I bet that I would be getting rid of it, or have someone else do it. Is it like poison ivy in that it bothers some people and doesn't others? My son can just be down wind of poison ivy and breaks out!
I guess that is the case, KG. The Creeper doesn't bother me at all, skin wise. Thank goodness since it comes up in lots of places in my yard. If it did, I would be having it removed too.
