You must really enjoy getting out on your patio and seeing and smelling the beautiful flowers. They are so pretty and the colors are so vibrant. Love the Hydrangea! :p

You've got a pretty garden, Sherry. :D I'd love to walk around there for real and touch and smell all your lovely blooms. Your tree toad would be in real danger since I'd probably kiss it. I think they're so sweet.

Edit: I had to go back and look at your lilies again. What beauties they are. *drooling*

Ah so pretty, Sherry! The pink hydrangea... oh, love it. And also the double tiger lily... Have to agree on the starfigher lily too -- it's gorgeous. I really love seeing the way folks combine plants together too. Your garden is like a kalaidescope! And I know I've admired your large pot before -- but I do like it sooo much.

Netty....it is variegated ...zebra lily they called it when I bought it. I love any type of variegated leaves.

daisybeans...one lady calls me rainbow on another site because I combine colors so much...I don't do it as much inside the home but outside I just love so many flowers that I want them all and plant as much as I can..

I am so happy with the large pot this year on how it is growing...with the winds here some days I wonder how they survive...and the petunias in my pots by the bird pergola...those have really stood up to the weather...

I just wish we had a longer growing season to do more gardening....and with this weather we are having you have to make sure to take a jacket if you plan on staying out later...it was only 53 the other morning at 7...but they promised warmer weather and some humidity...well, they can keep the humidity...

    Thank you everyone..

You have one of the lovliest gardens, Sherry. Such evocative planting schemes and colours.
Did you make the "backyard art" yourself?
I'll tell you Sherry--some of those flowers are remarkable.

Sjoerd...thank you for the nice comment.

No we did not make the art. We bought it at a craft fair a few years back. People around our area love things for the garden and they sell pretty good.

I am getting to the point in the gardens that if I do not like a plant or how it grows in the garden, I just get rid of it. That way I have room for a new one or two plants. Like the cranesbill geranium...I have so many of them and they got so big this year...

    Have a great day..

    Sherry :-D

Sherry, your garden is so lovely. I love the pics of the hummingbird moth. I saw one yesterday, but wasn't prepared with my camera. So, I just had to settle for enjoying it in person.

We were up in your neck of the woods this past weekend to take the kids to the Tundra Lodge Hotel and waterpark in Green Bay. The weather was beautiful, but a bit too cool to use the outside pool. My oldest and I went outside and came running right back in covered in goosebumps.

It was late afternoon on Saturday that we attempted to go outside. I think it was in the low 70's. But after the inside temps of 80+, it felt pretty chilly. Later that evening, we walked over to a restaurant and I had to put sweatshirts on the kids 'cause it was getting so cool.

I didn't realize it was in the 50's on Sunday morning because we were all snug and warm eating from room service (chocolate chip pancakes) and watching cartoons in our jammies.

Have you ever eaten at Grandma Gert's in GRB? We tried to stop there for lunch (best soups and pies ever!), but it was out of business. Rotten economy messing with my pie fix.
