    Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody has ever used a wooden bath mat. I saw a nice example and I was wondering if they work well. I was also wondering if anybody has made one. The ones I have seen for sale in stores are made from pine that has been stained and sealed. When I did an internet search I saw some very nice cedar and teak mats. Im sure I could make one without much hassle. Anyway could anyone think of any negatives or positives for for the ideas above?
    Thanks in advance!

They look nice and add a lot of life to a bathroom, but even though they are sealed, they will eventually acumulate water and get moldy. Also, they are a main in the butt to clean.

Hmmm, bit of a health hazard too. They get really slippy!

They definitely look fantastic, but if you ask me, there's nothing sweeter than stepping out onto a plush bath mat at the end of a shower.

We use pre-sealed (to make them waterproof) cork bathmats for stepping onto after a bath or shower. They are easy to keep clean and much safer than wooden bath mats (warmer too on your tootsies.) :-D

i think its not good. because it is a wood and it can still get molds sooner. it is also slippery. so, using wood bath mat is not really good.
