Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words to me about Missy. I truly appreciate them all, because I know all of you understand the bonds that form between us and our dear pets... I miss my pet a lot...

Jon... Archey looks like a fun, spirited boy in that picture and I can tell he was very well loved by you and your family. I'm so sorry that you've lost Archey. It sure does create an empty spot in the heart that is hard to ignore, doesn't it? Well, maybe Archey and Missy will make friends in pet heaven...

    Rest peacefully, Archey and Missy.

Thanks MaryAnn, that means a lot. I do miss him very much. I bet Archey and Missy will make great friends because he was not a hater of cats. In fact he once had a a cat as a best friend.

Im at work so cant post any pics right now, but Im sure some of you will remember my dog Macy who I had to put to sleep last year in Oct. She had ruptured a disc. We couldnt afford surgery, so we tried Chiropractics, which helped, but she had also lost all control of her bowels/bladder, which couldnt be fixed. I still miss her, of course.
And Id like to mention my boyfriends beagle Rudy who he also had to put down (I think it was early last year or the year before).

We lost our Lucky dog to cancer several weeks ago. The vet thought a snake had bit her when her leg became swollen. He treated her for that for 4 weeks, it didn't respond. She began having trouble breathing and he did xrays. The cancer started in the bone, probably several years ago and had moved to the lungs. We made the decision to have her put to sleep, she had suffered enough the weeks prior and with her breathing getting worse we just couldn't stand to see her suffer anymore. She was 12 years old. We raised her on a bottle from 2 weeks of age and she was just one of the girls, she is sorely missed:

Her nickname was Fancy Face, imagine my delight when my Fancy Face daylily bloomed the next week:

A very beautiful tribute to a very beautiful and wonderful girl. Love you Fancy Face you will be forever missed.

Sharon I know what you are going through. As much as we hate to have our sick pets put to sleep, it is the kindest thing we can do for them at that time. I know she brought you many years of joy. And so befitting that you daylily bloomed the next week.

Look at that sweet fuzzy face... Sharon, I'm sorry to hear about Lucky... She was indeed a lucky girl to have had you for her person... It sure does hurt... I'm still feeling lonesome for my Missy-girl... Bless their hearts, they were good girls...

It's unhappy news about your little fancyfaceed doggie.
It is always an unhappy time, but I'll bet you have loads of good memories, don't you?

Crisco passed away in December 2009 due to a heart condition that had never shown up at his regular physical checkups. We will always miss him.

First there were a lot of ginger kittens,..then i was left with just two,..Ginger Ale and Ginger Beer,..they were always together,..one of them died when i was abroad on holiday,..so i called the last one "Ginger",..a remarkable cat!,..a friendly clean cat and i became very attached to it,..or it to me!,..Ginger died last year,..and to this day it disturbs me!,..so here is a video of Ginger,..it will play on your Windows Media Player,..and will take a few seconds to load depending on your computer.
