My oldest daughter called yesterday morning to let us know that Stormie, their 11 yr old Springer Spaniel had gotten out of the backyard and run off. They spent almost all of yesterday driving around, putting our flyers and found nothing.

Please send some good vibes, prayers, thoughts and energies Stormies' way to keep her safe until she is found by someone who will take her to the pound (where there is a flyer taped to the front door) and she is returned to her family. The grandsons are devastated. She is in good health but she is black and old, this heat could kill her.

Sending everything I can in the hope that Stormie will be found safe and sound Toni. Your poor grandsons must be almost out of their minds with worry.
Is she microchipped or does she have any form of ID on her? I do hope so as it will make it easier for someone to contact your family so that she can be returned to them.

Thanks you all. I have to keep focused and stop picturing her wandering around lonely and afraid. She is a very laid back dog and so sweet.....until it comes to thunderstorms then she will chew up mattresses to find a place to hide.

No word yet this morning, I don't know what time the animal shelter up there opens so I guess there is still hope.
