Those two were certainly enjoying their bath time weren't they? :-D I hope the weather was warm enough for them to dry off quickly.
What a great video! Tell me, do you put out tiny bars of soap and fluffy towels, too? I miss bluejays. We occasionally had them when we lived in town, but here on the farm we haven't seen one in three years. I guess they are urban birds in Texas, or we aren't on the list of preferred bluejay bathing spots!
That is priceless! Wish I could get my Blue Jays to come up from the pine trees. They seem to stay back there.
There used to be a blue jay around my yard who would take the peanuts I left on the porch for the squirrels. I didn't see him this year. They are such pretty birds. Love your video -- the ball game and the laughter in the background made it that much more homey feeling. Very nice, Capt.
I enjoyed seeing that Bluejay bathing. I like watching birds bathe...they are so thoroughj. I agree with Miss Beans that the background sounds made the video feel so homey. That too was a good touch, Capt'n.
Awww, too cute. I also like to see birds take a bath, especially sparrows. They sort of make it a family event, line up, go in several at a time and chirp through it.
Capt. That was a fun video to see. Birds really do appreciate that fresh, clean water to bathe in. I get a lot of Cardinals here to bathe; my birdbath is their "hot spot" to get spiffed up!
