vegetable garden

    This is my veg garden such as it is. Hard to see all but I do have tomatos,eggplant, peppers, basil,chives,jerusalem artichokes (sunchokes),two kinds of bird millet (they love this) rosemary,tarragon,lemon verbena, lemongrass, Many salvias, pentas, butterfly weed (annual)

    zinnias, miniature rose,cosmos,lantanas,lavender,

    cleome etc. The red glider is where we sit all the time and butterfly watch. That is the dreaded kudzu on the one side. We try to "manage it".
    This is one of the newer gaillardias.

    Ohhh Bethie!!!I absolutely love it!!! I bet you have millions of butterflies fluttering around in there!! Good Job!!

    I would love to wander around in your garden too, you have so many different plants.I didnt know people could grow millet, so thats something else i have learned.

    Well I think I'm best staying well away from your garden Bethie 'cause I just know I'd ne pinching cuttings galore!!! :D :D What a wonderful area and it must smell gorgeous too.

    Awesome garden Bethie, did you grow the millet from seed. I can't find a source for the purple millet seed anywhere, only the plants.

    Bethie you have such a variety of flowers. I've only started and have only a few different ones.

    Wonderful garden - I love all the variety, and it's so neat. Mine is all jumbled together, I never manage to keep good rows, always tucking plants into every little slot.
