Was outside puttering around and a Hummingbird "buzzed" me! I know it's early, but I'm going to set out the feeder and put a little bit of "juice" for them. :smt041

Waaaaaaaaaaa, I want Hummingbirds. I haven't seen one at this house in the 24 years we have been here.

Time for you to pack up and move into to their flight zone! :D
Okay... I am saddened that you don't get them. They sure a joy to watch.

Lucky! I won't see any here until the Lilac's bloom - usually around May 24th.

I barely got the feeder filled and he/she came by 3-4 times to have a drink. Wished there was a little Smilie for "tickled pink"! :-D

Lucky you Cheryl, it looks like you have a friend for the summer. Get 'em early they'll keep coming back. Toni, do you put out a feeder?

Cheryl, thanks for the warning! I'll get our feeders filled and out tomorrow. We have a couple of hummingbird-attracting plants in bloom, so I hope they consider the feeders and the plants to be a red carpet.

Jane... the Hummer was flitting between the Petunias, the feeder and the Calibachoas. That's really all that's blooming now. But ohhhh boy... when the Mimosa blooms, I bet they won't even bother with the feeder.

Last year i put the humming bird feeder over a hanging basket of flowers, the birds liked both. Fast, very fast, I would no sooner say humming bird to my wife so she could look and then it was gone.:-( It got to be saying "look" meant look at the feeder.

Jerry, I put out feeders every spring and they sit lonely and unused. I change the water a few times thru spring and summer but nothing ever shows up. And I have many plants that would attract them if they were in the area, but they aren't
