    Today is Hubby & I's 10th Anniversary!

And I just realized that today is my 2nd year anniversary here!
    wooohooooo!!!

I remember both days so well!
I'm sure you don't want to hear about the other one...
but I came here looking to ID a plant outside my office. Found out it was a Lily of the Nile. And the rest is history! :D

Happy Anniversaries! First, congratulations to your husband and you for finding such great soul mates, and secondly, congratulations to all of us on the Stew for having you here for two years (and many more, we hope!).

Congratulations and congratulations again! Best wishes for many more years of happiness in the dirt with your hubby!

As for two years at GS.... what a pleasure it's been being here with you, Cheryl! You bring so much positive energy, joy and love of gardening. It's always fun to see what you're getting into next!

Thanks everyone. We didn't do anything special. Hubby fired up the small BBQ pit for a rack of his famous baby back ribs and I made a big bowl of my famous potato salad. Some cold beer in the cooler and just enjoyed the gorgeous evening.
My gift isn't quite finished yet... the rain water collection barrel. Got the guttering up... just need the downspout piece. And then build the stand and set it up!

And as for as my Garden Stew anniversary.... it wouldn't be complete without a picture of MY Lily of the Nile!

I wish it would have had more of it's blooms open for it's anniversary portrait. :-D
But it won't be too long now. The other one I had planted on the other side of the step didn't make it through the winter. Maybe I can get some seeds from this one and get some more going.
