I talked to Glenda yesterday. She is coming back to Texas soon. She thought around the first week of September. She can't drive back by herself so arrangements are being made for someone from here to fly up and drive her and Oreo back. She is just coming here to pick up a few things and then she is going to stay with a friend up near Ft. Worth as she still can't stay by herself. She says she will come and go as she can manage it but at least she will be in Texas. I did tell her how hot it has been here but she says it's already getting cooler up there and she wants to be home before it gets colder.

Thank you for the update Dooley. It's good to hear Glenda is getting back to more familiar surroundings.

I'm so glad Glenda's feeling better and up for a road-trip. But if it were me... I think I'd stay "up-north" for a few more weeks. Sure don't want this heat to zap all of her strength.
But then again... being at home, even for a little while, has to feel great!

Thank you so much Dooley. I can understand that she would want to get back home.
It is good that she has a friend in Fort Worth that she can stay with. How permanent is tha going to be? Are there any type of social services that could provide her with home care or something, should she have to go back to her own home?
Did Glenda say how Heather is holding up? I hope she is doing well.

Anyway, thanks for the update. You are a good pal to Glenda.....and US!

Many thanks Dooley. I've been wondering if Glenda would be thinking of returning to Texas soon. It's good to know that she has a friend she can stay with who will keep her company and watch out for her until she can cope on her own again. I hope the heat doesn't hit her too hard after being in Montana.

Dooley, thank you for the information! I've been wondering how Glenda is doing, and it seems she is doing well if she is coming back to Texas. Great news!

Am glad to hear Glena is doing better. I can certainly understand her not wanting to get caught in the cold and snow, and just wanting to be "home".
