Happy Monday morning. Another clear crisp morning. These days have been absolutely gorgeous. Cool mornings and evenings but in the 70-80s during the day.
If it weren't for the drought... I'd say things are perfect here weatherwise.
Won a Gardenia in the silent auction at the Church Bazaar yesterday, going to pick out a spot of it and get it planted this afternoon.
Right now, waiting on my other brother to show up. We've been asked by one of our aunts to go paint the graves of our relatives before the "blessing" next weekend.
Whew... at least I can rest tomorrow when I go back to work!

Hello everyone on the beautiful Tuesday morning. THe sun is shining and I am doing my washing to hang them outside. A slight breeze - almost feels like summer is around the corner.
I 'located' my lost photos and I am a happy person again. Now it is just for my garden to become ultra happy again.
Have a great stewing day - and those in the northern hemisphere - keep warm winter is coming. Beautiful snow photos will soon be the norm - I am looking forward to it. :-D

    Good morning everyone,

Its another frosty morning here, we had roughly 50 kids lastnight, so a little candy left.

I plan on taking down the cornstalks, and putting away the Halloween stuff today, while the weather is still good.

It's Beginning to Look Alot Like "Halloween"?

Good Morning fellow Stewers, I have a journey today after being on this 3 day weekend with the hubby.

Today is the day I go check on the friends who have no electric. I have electric and am fairly self sufficient. Lots of batteries and a generator, propane heaters for sources of heat and for cooking for the greenhouse and the house. A plow on our old truck for our long driveway. Some people are not like we are at all. Never the less we have to watch out for others in our lives.

So off to NJ I go for this day.

Happy Tuesday morning. And yep... another day filled with sunshine. The temps are a bit warmer... it was 50F when I left home this morning and will get up to 80F. Still... not much of a chance of rain in sight. Just realized this is the last week before Daylight Savings Time ends. So... I'd better enjoy my afternoons/evenings now since it will soon be dark or near dark when I get home after work. Yuck!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 5°C and clear. It is going to be a beautiful day today - a high of 16°C expected! I plan on moving some more manure into my veggie patch and spending time in my gardens. Have a great day all :)

AHHHHHHHHH, says it all. It is one of the nicest days this fall, so far and I hope there are a few more. Today I am cleaning up the garden, finally. It's dry AND warm. WOW what a change.

    Hello all stewbies

It sure is nice to be stewing again. I had a good day, a lovely dinner and just need some winding down and no better winding down than some stewing before taking a long, leisurely bath....
(Oh - how I wish I could use my own bath, in my own bathroom...0

Well, it was bound to happen... yesterday was 80°F and gorgeous, and today we are having the first slushy, sloppy, cold snow of the season.
I've been working hard to get my job gardens tidied up, and I am almost finished with the list. This snow will probably melt by tomorrow or the next day, and then I hope we get some more nice weather before winter sets in.
So for today, I am doing some cleaning chores, and enjoying watching all the birds at the feeder.
Hope everybody is enjoying the day.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 10°C and overcast. Yesterday was a gorgeous day and I spent it outdoors cleaning out the gardens and topdressing the veggie patch with manure. Today is errand and shopping day. Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday all. Cold front moved through last night, high winds and cold temps but again NO rain. The high temp yesterday was 85, this afternoon is to be 58. This mornings low was 40 and tomorrow we just might get our first freeze....that would be 13 days earlier than average....works for me, but more likely will get a light frost with the temp staying a couple of degrees above 32F/0C

Happy Thursday afternoon. That front moved through here in the middle of the night. And left us a little bit of rain. I woke up late and didn't have time to check the rain gauge, but there were puddles in a few places! It's windy and cool out right now. Supposed to get down to the mid 30s tonight.
I have a 3 or 4 plants that I need to bring indoors.
One is my old African Milkweed... after serious damage a couple of winters ago, I promised it that it would never spend another day out in the cold.
