    Hallo everyone!

As I posted some pictures in the ID forum because I don't know what plants they are; butt I have what I think are wild roses and Hosta's.

I out every morning to look at them, because I'm becoming crazy about them. :)

ANYWAYS, I noticed it looks like there are bugs or something eating the leaves!

Possible Wild Rose bushes. The leaves on this plant are the same on both bushes.

Possible Hostas.. I have many of these plants on the property. Not all of them look like they are being eaten; just the ones that are closest to the house.

Like I said earlier, I go outside every morning and look at them. I don't see any bugs on them, expect yesterday there was a spider and a little black fly on them. I don't know if those are just natural bugs in plants or if they are a problem. My man's mom things that we have Japanese beetles eating the plants, but wouldn't I see them if they were? Am I going outside at the wrong time of the day?

If anyone has any idea's that would be much appreciated!!

I can't tell you what's eating your rose and hostas, but I can tell you that hostas are much loved by slugs. The holes don't look like slug damage though. If you're able to go outside very early in the morning or late in the evening you might catch the culprit with it's mouth full. :D

I went out there early this morning.. like 6ish.. I didn't find anything.. I looked on the underside of some of the leaves and I didn't find any slugs. :\ Someone recommended using Sevin(SP?) to help get rid of the pests. I'm hesitant to use anything with out finding the buggers.
