I recently received this egg basket from the guys at our local feed store:

With such an attractive basket as an early Easter present, the ladies are trying to fill it with large eggs. They are still keeping with the brown color, though--no green or blue eggs from my girls!

Nice Jane. I use a longaberger (sp?) basket and the bottom is starting to go bad, so now I will recycle it into a planter this spring. I need to look for another one, something with a swinging handle and holds at least 3 dzn eggs. I do like that basket, though. it would look great with green eggs for the season, huh?

I am very fortunate to have such a great feed store with such nice staff in the little town near us. The guys have helped me with questions a "new" poultry owner has, and have never laughed in my face about some of my questions (after I leave, who knows?).
They open early, and stay open late, and are always ready with suggestions and ideas.
