We have had some really nice weather, up into the mid 80's and last night it turned cold and we had some sleet and snow. Just enough to see it on the porch rail. I was out in te yard a minute ago and it was spitting snow! :(

I hear ya Cap't! Spring is cold and windy this year. We had snow earlier in the week. Now people are wondering if we'll just skip spring and go right into a hot, dry summer...

They're still calling for a chance of snow here on the 23rd of April! Hoping that will be the last cold day here (low in 20's). It's going to be really late getting gardens in this year. Tomatoes might not get planted until June at this rate.

it is fore casted for 24f tonight  :smt088 :smt119 :smt100 nooooooooo! I have strawberries in bloom inside the high tunnel.Three 30' rows. they are beautiful right now. I sure hope the row covers keep them warm enough. We tried greenbeans in another house, too. They are just popping through the soil...row covers there, too.

I was in New Jersey a few minutes ago and someone said as she looked at the colors on the weather forecast map at the rest stop, "Is that snow?" "Tonight it will be 30°F". The system, at the time, was over Ohio. Must be yours Captain and Carolyn. I won't be home to 'enjoy' it. :) :)

Well spring definitely isn't in Ontario either ... we had strong winds and snow squalls all day yesterday! The snow melted as soon as it hit the ground, but it was NASTY out there!

It seems as spring is becoming shorter with every passing year. I don't know if it is just me, but I feel the climate changes. I won't be surprised, if seasons shift directly from winter to summer in the following decades.
