Most of the seed packets(13) said 1984, one was 1983 and another 1981. The 1983 packet contained Shasta Daisies in a hermetically sealed pouch. The pouch may have contributed to the seeds viability. Seven other packets had pouches.

A view of a few of the emerged seeds.

The arrival of the next seeds may be a few ticks away.

Coming in second place a day later, after 29 years in silence, Ageratum!! The seeds were also in a hermetically sealed pouch. The other Ageratum package has yet to make an appearance.

The Shasta Daisies were in their pouch for 30 years. Pouches are getting more interesting all the time.

Hi Jerry,..those sealed pouches are proving themselves well worthwhile,..its very interesting to see the seedlings pop up after such a long spell in hibernation.
