Another flower finally bloomed this year. It always waits till all the irises and tulips and other stuff gets done.
These Tiger Lilies have been in the same places in the yard for years and they always pop back up in the spring. Btw, the ones in the shade bloom later than the ones in full sunlight.

Hi Jadenz, How long do your Tiger Lily blooms stay open? Do they have bulbils between the leaf and the stem?

I asked mom and she said they are wild Tiger Lilies and I never saw any bulbils on them. All the leaves on the stem are near the ground and sometime we have to dig them up and separate the tubers when they get too crowded.

Hi Jadenz, it would appear that they are Hemerocallis fulva. Common names associated with this daylily are Orange daylily, Tawny Daylily, Tiger Daylily or Ditch lily. I will enter them as Hemerocallis fulva (Tiger Daylily) if you have no objections.

@ Cherylad. Cool! :-D My favorite colors green but I like lots of other colors too.

@ Jerry. Thanks! :-D Now I know what they are and I can learn more about them. I don't remember how long the flowers stay but I'll watch and let you know. This is the first time i ever watched to learn when the flowers start blooming and stuff.
An onion flowered yesterday but I don't think that counts, lol.
